In the national energy plan from 2017-2040, coal, oil and gas power is still going to dominate its energy mix with other power supplies from RE such as solar, wind and geothermal. As an archipelago, the Philippines is also facing critical challenges from the disasters such as typhoon and earthquake which have caused huge damages to he national economic growth and posed threat to its people. So how to build a resilient power supply network and enhance reliability is put atop the government agenda.
The 2nd PPDS2019 is going to bring together industry leaders, policy makers, power producers, investors and solution providers in Manila to discuss the most concerned topics of the Philippine power industry, latest trends and challenges.
